Family Reunion

This photoshoot was lots of fun. Sisters reunited after years of being apart, and little girls getting to know their Aunties.

Lots of learning, lots of success and lots of beautiful areas to explore. Having them all in uniform colouring really helps to keep the focus on everyone as a whole and not making someone stick out like a sore thumb the whole time.

 

Working with young kids makes things interesting and a little bit tricky at times since the attention span is hard to keep, thank goodness for the digital age! But these girls did very well with cute poses, strong expressions and keeping things interesting. I had my own two kids at this shoot as my wife was my assistant for the first bit and then caregiver afterwards so I could work with just the sisters.

Photoshoot at Filberg Park

This photoshoot allowed us to take in the sites and natural surroundings of the beautiful Filberg Park in Comox, BC.  Model was my good friend Sarah, with hair and makeup done by Courtney Pozzolo.

Sarah might have felt more comfortable getting closer if it wasn’t for a four point buck staring us down. Alas this was the only photo we got that included human and deer together. In between shooting Sarah I was able to capture some of the beautiful surroundings.

Blogger! For sure! But while we may have been away… We have been busy photographing! That’s the good news. Today I am going to post some recent photos and then I will start updating the photos taken during the window since the weddings. You can look forward to more regular updates and soon photography tips and thoughts. To start us off here is a recent shoot with a beautiful and talented young woman named Myisha.
